Quantum Cryptography Engineer
Remote / Geneva (CH)
You’ll work on
Build, benchmark and harden PKQM schemes like hidden subspace states, quantum lightning, invariant-based (“knot”) schemes and semi-device-independent banknotes.
Evaluating assumptions like non-collapsing hash functions and hidden subspace oracles
Prototype oracle-based and MPC-based mint / verify flows on NISQ hardware (Qiskit, Cirq, strawberry-fields) and classical co-processors (Rust, Go).
Design post-quantum fall-backs: lattice-, isogeny- and code-based signatures; non-collapsing hash functions; one-way function assumptions for franchised money.
Collaborating with theorists to stress-test schemes under full or partial quantum adversaries
We’re looking for
PhD (or equivalent impact) in quantum information, cryptography or complexity theory.
Publications in areas such as LWE/SIS, hash-based PQC, quantum lightning, invariant money or device-independent protocols.
Ability to produce clean, audited code in Rust/Go/Julia plus familiarity with at least one quantum SDK.
Contributions to standards bodies (ISO/ETSI/PQC NIST) or open-source quantum libraries.
